Sandra Meadows Classic - News

The dates for the 2009 Classic is December 28-30, 2009.

All games games will be played in the Sandra Meadows Arena Complex. The three competition gyms in the complex make it a "one stop shop" for all tournament games.

Once again the Duncanville Lion's Club will be running the concession stands and we will make every endeavor to make sure you stay refreshed.

If you are looking for other dining opportunities, we will have an informational booth manned and we will have maps, directions and menus for the establishments in the area.

The Hilton Garden Inn, Best Western Inn & Suites, and the Holiday Inn Express will be our tournament hotels and we hope your stay for the tournament can be relaxing and comfortable.

Fayetteville defeated last year's Sandra Meadows Classic winner, Houston Bellaire 53-47 in the 2008 tournament's championship game.

Fayetteville had wins over Colleyville Heritage, Mesquite Horn, Duncanville, and Houston Westside before facing Bellaire in the finals.

Bellaire defeated Kennedale, Waxahachie, Frisco, and Fort Bend Hightower to reach the finals.

In the 3rd and 4th place game Fort Bend Hightower defeated Houston Westside 62-37.
